Sunderland are hosting Brighton today and supporters have aired their grieveances at Regis Le Bris’ defensive set up.

The teams have been announced for the match at Stamford Bridge. For Chelsea, they start Cole Palmer who has committed his future to the club and Moises Caicedo is back in the team after recovering from injury.

Chelsea take on Bournemouth at 3pm BST and earlier today their star man Cole Palmer signed a new deal until 2034.

He said: “Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I’m delighted to sign and I’m obviously very happy.

“Speaking to the owners, to the sporting directors and obviously the manager, they gave me a lot of confidence so it was only right to sign.

“Speaking to players as well, everyone has the same ambitions. I feel like we win major trophies here consistently and I want to be a part of that and play a big role in it too.”

Hello and welcome to today’s Premier League clockwatch. The action in the English top-flight has returned after an international break and a game is already underway with Arsenal hosting Leeds, a score update on that game to come shortly.

Fans then have a batch of four 3pm BST kick-offs which we will be updating all of you on here as the goals come in. Those matches are:

  • Aston Villa v Brentford

  • Ipswich Town v Fulham

  • Chelsea v Bournemouth

  • Sunderland v Brighton
