Augsburg's Robin Fellhauer wrote his name into German footballing history on Saturday, scoring the fastest ever Bundesliga goal in a draw against Bayern Munich courtesy of a comical Manuel Neuer error.
It took Fellhauer just eight seconds to latch on to a loose pass from Neuer before tucking home into an empty net almost immediately after Bayern had kicked off.
Neuer received the ball from the centre circle in what was the first pass of the game, before taking a touch and attempting to lift it over the midfielder, but Fellhauer took it off his toes and around the German keeper to put Augsburg in front in record time.
But it was a lead that Augsburg couldn't hold on to with Ismael Saibari equalising for the visitors after the break.
Rodrigo Ribeiro then tapped home to put Augsburg a goal to the good once again, before Nathaniel Brown salvaged a late point for Bayern. It was though, a result that saw them drop off the top of the Bundesliga table while Augsburg moved into fifth.
