Major crypto exchange Coinbase has announced the removal of trading support for five crypto tokens.
In a recent X post, Coinbase stated it had disabled trading for five tokens, including Idex (IDEX), Loopring (LRC), Omni Network (OMNI), Pirate Nation (PIRATE), and StaFi (FIS). Trading of the five tokens has been suspended on Coinbase (Simple and Advanced Trade), Coinbase Exchange, and Coinbase Prime.
This decision only affects the trading of these tokens, as holders will still have their funds accessible; they can also continue to withdraw their funds at any time.
This week, Coinbase announced the suspension of trading for six trading pairs. Coinbase stated it regularly monitors the markets on its exchange and, in an effort to improve overall market health and consolidate liquidity, the six non-USD trading pairs for supported assets were removed.
The affected markets are LSETH-ETH, MINA-EUR, GRT-GBP, MASK-GBP, CHZ-USDT, and CRO-USDT, with trading suspended across Coinbase Exchange, Advanced Trade, and Coinbase Prime.
This week, Coinbase added support for BRENT and WTI oil perpetual futures on the platform.

Coinbase has announced that US500 Equity Index perp-style futures will arrive on the platform on August 17. This is expected to provide perp-style exposure to the entire US large-cap economy on Coinbase derivatives.
Trading for AZTEC (AZTEC-PERP) perpetual futures will be suspended on Coinbase on August 17 on or around 13:00 UTC. Any remaining open positions will be settled automatically at the time of suspension.
