Why Stephen A. expects Cowboys to beat 'anemic' Eagles (1:02)

PHILADELPHIA -- The Eagles' top two receivers -- DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks -- have been ruled out of Monday night's game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Smith has been dealing with hamstring issues since the summer, when he was sidelined for a portion of training camp.

He tweaked his hamstring Week 2 against the Tennessee Titans, saying recently that he thought being dehydrated in the Nashville heat was a contributing factor. He played through the injury the following week but missed the next two games before returning last Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, catching seven balls for 75 yards and a touchdown. Smith was unable to practice this week.

Wicks appeared on the practice report this week with an ankle injury. This will be the first time he'll miss a game with the Eagles.

Tight end Dallas Goedert (knee) expects to play despite missing the first two days of practice this week. The Eagles' offense could also welcome back Saquon Barkley (hamstring) and lineman Landon Dickerson (knee/pec), both of whom are questionable.

Nolan Smith (concussion) has been ruled out, while fellow edge rusher Jonathan Greenard (ankle) is questionable, telling reporters Friday that he is a game-time decision.
