Alexander performed in Seattle’s preseason opener in opposition to the Las Vegas Raiders after spending rookie minicamp and coaching camp with them.
In his last school season, he had simply 4 mixed tackles and one interception in 12 video games.
He began his collegiate profession at Sam Houston State and transferred to UTSA for his junior season.
He showcased his abilities there with 34 mixed tackles, 15 passes defended and two interceptions.
For the Steelers, projected starters Joey Porter Jr. and Darius Slay are out with accidents, as is main backup Cory Trice Jr.
Alexander may have a troublesome problem attempting to make the roster, identical to any undrafted free agent and gamers signed at this level of the preseason.
However even when he doesn’t survive the ultimate cuts, he needs to be somebody to keep watch over as a possible follow squad participant, given the Steelers’ scarcity of choices on the place.
