The Dreadful is the identify of Sophie Turner and Package Harington’s upcoming horror movie — and, apparently, an apt descriptor of their kiss on set.
Turner mentioned on Late Evening With Seth Meyers on Thursday, August 14, that it was “vile” kissing her former Sport of Thrones costar for the movie.
“We get on set, and it’s the primary kissing scene, and we’re each retching,” Turner mentioned. “Like, actually, it’s vile. It was the worst. One other actually unhealthy second in my profession.”
However Turner has herself accountable, actually, contemplating she received Harington forged.
“I simply received this script for this wonderful Gothic horror referred to as The Dreadful, and I used to be studying by way of all of the characters, and I’m producing it, so the director was asking me, ‘Who do you assume?’”
Turner mentioned her first thought for one character was Harington, who performed Jon Snow, who was raised because the brother of Turner’s Sansa Stark, on Sport of Thrones.

“And so I despatched the script to Package. He despatched me a message again going like, ‘Yeah, I’d like to, however that is going to be actually f***ing bizarre, Soph,’” Turner added. “And I used to be like, ‘What’s he speaking about?’ After which I used to be studying it, and I’m like, ‘Kiss, kiss, intercourse, kiss, intercourse.’ After which I’m like, ‘Oh, shoot, that’s my brother.’”
Written and directed by filmmaker Natasha Kermani (V/H/S/85), The Dreadful is a Conflict of the Roses-set story through which Anne (Turner) and Morwen (Marcia Homosexual Harden) reside a harsh existence on the outskirts of society. Harington performs a person from their previous whose reappearance “set[s] off a sequence of occasions that grow to be a turning level for Anne,” the logline provides.
“It was such a superb script, that [Kit] was like, ‘We sort of must do it,’” Turner recalled.
So Turner and Harington put the intimate scenes out of their head… after which that kiss occurred. Turner advised host Seth Meyers locking lips with Harington was even worse than being lined in cockroaches for her new thriller movie Belief. “Yeah, yeah, it was,” she mentioned. “I’ve to be trustworthy. It was unhealthy.”
