Jack White will bring some rock ’n’ roll to Thanksgiving this year: the recent Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee has been tapped to headline the halftime show for the Thanksgiving Day matchup between his hometown Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers on November 27th.

The Lions recently announced that fellow Detroit music legend Eminem and his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg will serve as executive producers of the annual halftime event. Rather than headline himself, Eminem opted for White in 2025, a fitting choice given that his song “Seven Nation Army” has become a ubiquitous stadium anthem across the NFL.
White won’t be the only major music act taking the stage during the NFL’s slate of Thanksgiving games: Post Malone will headline the halftime show of the Dallas Cowboys’ game against the Kansas City Chiefs, and Lil Jon will play at the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals’ game.
