Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Frankenstein’ Teaser: Oscar Isaac Resurrects Jacob Elordi in Gothic Retelling


Jacob Elordi is being break up open and sewn again collectively once more for Guillermo Del Toro‘s buzzy “Frankenstein” adaptation.

Del Toro stated whereas on the 2025 Cannes Movie Competition that the characteristic is an “emotional story” and is “as private as something.” Del Toro continued, “I’m asking a query about being a father, being a son. … I’m not doing a horror film — ever. I’m not attempting to do this.”

Andrew Garfield was initially set to star within the lead function; because of the SAG-AFTRA strike, he exited the venture following scheduling conflicts, with Elordi changing him.

Elordi teased to IndieWire that “Frankenstein” goes to be “one hell of a film.” He later instructed IndieWire that the solid watched two Frankenstein movies from the Nineteen Thirties as references whereas filming del Toro’s adaptation. “I feel I’ve seen each creature movie ever made.
