For Good Smashes Records At The Weekend Box Office, But It’s Bad News For The Running Man – 8881199.XYZ


It’s no surprise that Wicked: For Good — the highly anticipated second half of last year’s Broadway adaptation — takes top billing in this week’s Box Office report, but I’m not sure how many people guessed it would dominate so thoroughly. Not only would you practically never know there were two other new releases on the 2025 movie schedule this weekend, but the musical starring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo vanquished records that were set by Wicked: Part I a year ago.
