BrazilâÂÂs President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva has secured a fourth non-consecutive term after defeating right-wing Senator Flavio Bolsonaro in the run-off election.
Bolsonaro, however, has called for the vote to be annulled over an âÂÂunacceptableâ two-hour voting extension granted by Supreme Court Justice Cristiano Zanin, despite both candidates having requested additional voting time.
