US CENTCOM tells Al Jazeera Hormuz blockade ‘highly effective’

The spokesman for US Central Command has told Al Jazeera its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is ‘highly effective’. Captain Tim Hawkins says Iran does not control the waterway and that 900m barrels of oil have passed through the strait since May.
