Miami star receiver Malachi Toney is uncertain for Saturday's game against Notre Dame due to an ankle injury, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel and Max Olson on Wednesday.
Toney is expected to press and attempt to play, given the magnitude of the game, sources said.
The sophomore is third in nation with 1,027 receiving yards, has 13 touchdown receptions and is considered a top Heisman Trophy candidate.
The ACC's availability report will be released later Wednesday night.
