Alabama's Marshall Pritchett hurdles a defender for extra yards and a 1st down (0:28)

The college football season is in full swing, and the weekly troll jobs from winning squads remain hot.

One of those trolls came from Alabama, which kept its strong start to the season rolling with an impressive 56-23 win over Mississippi State.

Crimson Tide quarterback Keelon Russell shined by throwing for 285 yards and a trio of touchdowns, adding another score on the ground. The Alabama defense picked off star Bulldogs signal-caller Kamario Taylor twice, forcing four Mississippi State turnovers in total.

After the game, Alabama took to social media for a postgame troll of its hosts in Starkville, writing "Not enough cowbells" in reference to Davis Wade Stadium's famous noise-making tradition.

The Crimson Tide's jab was one of several shots teams took at their opponents after wins. Here are the top trolls from Week 5 of college football.

Houston 27, UCF 17

It took awhile for Houston -- which trailed UCF 17-0 in the third quarter, to find top gear -- but the Cougars eventually gathered enough momentum to come from behind for a Big 12 win.

The win also gave Houston more than just your usual conference bragging rights. Because of both schools' locations and their respective ties to the aerospace industry, the Cougars and Knights have jostled over the "Space U" tagline for some time now.

After the game, Houston staked its claim with a post on social media.

Air Force 14, Navy 9

It wasn't the prettiest offensive display, but Air Force did what it needed to secure a win in the race for the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy. Quarterback Liam Szarka ran in both Falcons scores, posting 81 rushing yards on 25 carries.

Air Force went for a simple but effective jab after the win, ribbing its fellow service academy with a "Sank 'em" tagline.

Pitt 35, Virginia Tech 33

An ACC thriller between the Panthers and Hokies went down to the wire on Friday night, with the game not decided until the final play. Virginia Tech lined up a last-second field goal to win the game, but it sailed wide and Pitt secured the victory to remain undefeated.

The Panthers had a couple of trolls ready to roll for their hosts after the game -- one via an "Exit Night" caption referencing Lane Stadium's iconic "Enter Sandman" tradition, and two more referencing rapper Bankroll Fresh's song "Take Over Your Trap."

Liberty 30, Delaware 14

Liberty picked up a Friday night win over Delaware in convincing fashion, building a 30-0 lead in a performance that saw the Flames rack up 282 rushing yards on a gaudy 47 attempts.

After the win, Liberty took aim at the Fightin' Blue Hens nickname of its defeated foe, posting a graphic reading "NO CRUMBS," with the text above an image of Liberty's eagle mascot holding a bucket of "Delaware Fried Chicken." The post was captioned "Cleaned the plate."
