Dave Grohl and Gibson have unveiled a new DG-335 artistic signature model electric guitar, limited to just 50 worldwide.
Foo Fighters fans will recognize the guitar as being nearly identical to the Alpine White DG-335 Grohl has been playing at Foo shows since 2021.

This new DG-335 Limited Edition model also features an Alpine White gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and blends elements of the ES-335 and Trini Lopez designs, as specified by Grohl himself. The signature model features a semi-hollow three-ply maple/poplar/maple body, bound diamond-shaped sound holes, single-ply cream binding, and a solid maple center block to reduce feedback and enhance sustain.

The mahogany neck, carved to a standard Trini Lopez profile, is paired with a bound Indian rosewood fretboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and split diamond inlays. The Firebird/Trini Lopez–style headstock touts Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners.
Hardware includes a TonePros ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles, a locking TonePros Stop Bar tailpiece, and unpotted Custombuckers with aged Alnico 3 magnets. Electronics are wired with CTS potentiometers, paper-in-oil capacitors, a Switchcraft three-way toggle, and Gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors.
Retailing for an eye-popping $11,999, this limited run of 50 is expected to sell out, per previous DG-335 releases. Each of the new models comes with a hardshell case and a soundhole label signed by Grohl. Purchase the guitar via Gibson’s website, and explore similar used Dave Grohl Gibson and Epiphone DG-335 models via Reverb.
Previously, Grohl and Epiphone released the more moderately priced DG-335 in Pelham Blue.
Fans can look for Grohl playing his Alpine White DG-335 when Foo Fighters embark on a North American stadium tour with Queens of the Stone Age next summer. Tickets are available here.
