Every New Character in Prime Video’s ‘Fallout’ Season 2 – 8881199.XYZ

As Fallout drifts its way toward its Season 2 premiere on Prime Video this December, the MacLeans are sure to meet a colorful cast of new Vault Dwellers. The popular RPG adaptation will continue to follow Lucy MacLean (Ella Purnell), Maximus (Aaron Moten), and Cooper Howard, aka the Ghoul (Walton Goggins), as they navigate a post-apocalyptic landscape and find their way to New Vegas.

In addition to the mainstays and recurring holdovers from Season 1, a few big-name actors have been cast to play larger-than-life characters in Fallout Season 2. As Lucy and her cohorts distance themselves from Vault 33 and head out west, it’s time to get acquainted with who they will encounter in New Vegas when Fallout returns on December 17.

Justin Theroux as Robert Edwin House

Prime Video

Acclaimed actor Justin Theroux (Mulholland Drive, Beetlejuice 2) has been cast to play Robert Edwin House in Fallout 2, the powerful, mysterious, godlike CEO of RobCo Industries. Better known as Mr. House (briefly played by Rafi Silver in Season 1), the corporate ruler controls New Vegas from behind a computer monitor in the year 2281, advancing his robotics company that preserves biological life from nuclear extinction.

As the self-appointed leader of the New Vegas strip, Mr. House attempts to create a booming metropolis that will survive nuclear fallout. Once Lucy, Max, and the Ghoul venture to the dystopian version of Las Vegas, they will encounter Mr. House and his legion of enablers. In terms of casting coups, it’s hard to think of a more accomplished actor than Theroux, who knows how to play outsized villains with the best of them.

Macaulay Culkin as Unnamed “Crazy-Genius Type”

Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin has been tapped to play an unnamed eccentric dubbed “crazy-genius type” online. Set to be a recurring role rather than a winking cameo, Culkin appears in the Fallout Season 2 trailer and fatally stabs an armored soldier while blood trickles down the side of his face. With few details given, including an official character name, it seems that showrunners Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet want to keep Culkin’s live-action role a scintillating secret for fans to discover when the show returns in December.

In a bit of a comeback year, Fallout marks the fourth acting credit for Culkin in 2025, joining Running Point, The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, and the upcoming Zootopia 2.

Kumail Nanjiani as a Brotherhood of Steel Pilot

A pilot stands in a hangar in Fallout Prime Video

The last major casting addition to Fallout 2 is Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Stuber), whose character name has not been provided. However, in the trailer, Nanjiani arrives at a hangar with a futuristic airplane and tells his subordinates, “I understand we’re discussing a civil war. I must not have got my invitation.” Given his powerful presence and sarcastic line reading, it’s clear that Nanjiani plays a high-ranking soldier or member of the Brotherhood of Steel.

Whether he plays a Brotherhood of Steel Elder or the professional pilot he appears to be (notice the leather bomber jacket with woolen lapels), Nanjiani is sure to deliver as many laughs as lashes when Fallout heads to the Mojave Desert for Season 2.

Additional New Supporting Players

Aside from Theroux, Culkin, and Nanjiani adding serious star wattage to Fallout Season 2, a few minor supporting character additions are expected as well. Although details about their characters are unknown, they include:

  • Rachel Marsh (The Morning Show) as Claudia
  • Jasper Cole (The Family Business) as Gregory
  • Les Brandt (Days of Our Lives) as Sherman
  • Chriselle Almeida (Grey’s Anatomy) as Vault-Tec Project Manager #2
  • Andrea Cañizares-Fernandez (Monster) as Wounded Woman
  • Eric Barragan (Pulse) as Warehouse Scribe #2
  • Henry Noble (Yellowstone) as HUAC Agent
  • John W. Lawson (Boomers) as Town Local
  • Evan Shafran (Nobody Wants This) as Brotherhood Of Steel Officer
  • Aj DeLeon (SEAL Team) as Brotherhood Of Steel Officer

Along with Lucy MacLean, Cooper Howard (The Ghoul), and Max, several main characters are set to return for Fallout Season 2. They include:

  • Moises Arias (Ender’s Game) as Norm MacLean, Lucy’s younger brother, who was trapped in Vault 31 when Season 1 ended. Knowing he survived, Lucy and Norm’s reunion in New Vegas seems inevitable.
